Gerald Marko specializes in voice mechanics, artist development and music production. Besides being an ESTILL Course Instructor, Gerald holds a Diploma in Performing Arts and an Advanced Diploma in Linguistics, Literature and Journalism. Between ‘98 and ‘04 he played principal roles in European professional musical theatre such as “CATS”, “Saturday Night Fever”, “Hair”, “Buddy Holly” and “Falco Meets Amadeus”. He performed in original and cover bands in Austria, Germany, Denmark and Australia, has written over 600 tracks, plays guitar, bass, drums, piano and is a published recording artist (Universal).
Since 2009, he is registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching, is head of voice at the Box Hill Senior Secondary College and teaches vocal technique to the 2nd years in the Bachelor of Applied Music course at Box Hill TAFE.
